Imagination Station has an ever changing calendar of events that makes every visit to the science center different from the last. With events for kids of all ages, you're sure to find fun for the entire family. Below is a listing of current and upcoming events.

Don’t miss our weekly activity in the Little KIDSPACE Science Studio. We will read an exciting, interactive story to your child, and then everyone gets a chance to complete a fun activity to take home!
May 2 – August 9
Engineer It! is back temporarily inside our flexible gallery. Explore how engineers think up new things, test them and then rebuild them to bring us the products we use every day.
August 4 – 9
Trajectory, fuel and so much more. Use Newton’s third law of motion to propel objects high into the sky. The science of rockets is about to blast off!
August 8 & 9
Discover the engineer within… This exciting science challenge gives kids of all ages the opportunity to design and build their own rocket.
September 7, 10am – 5pm
Spend your day off with us and explore the science center.

We will be closed for annual cleaning and maintenance. Please visit us again when our normal operating hours resume on Tuesday, September 29.

It’s our 6th birthday, so we’re throwing the biggest, craziest, most EXTREME science party you’ve ever seen – The Bash6. This annual fundraiser, infuses the science of taste, sound and entertainment into one unforgettable evening.

We’re putting the scare into scary for a hair raising, bone chilling, spine tingling science event.

Discover the madness behind the method! Apply the scientific method to uncover the truth behind popular myths.

Gather your zombie family for a haunting evening filled with special activities and demonstrations that’ll trick your eyes and treat your mind!
November 24 -28
Impress your family this Thanksgiving with a little bit of science! Learn all the tips and tricks of doing science at the dinner table with interactive experiments.
December 1 – January 3
The weather outside is frightful, but our science is so delightful. Frostology will explore the slippery science of snow, make engineers out of elves and create masterpieces from paper with our holiday-themed activities and demonstrations.
December 3, 6 – 8pm
This members-only pajama dance party with the big guy, Santa Claus. This festive night blends holiday cookies and cocoa with cool science.
We will be open from 10am – 5pm in celebration of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day!
