Imagination Station has an ever changing calendar of events that makes every visit to the science center different from the last. With events for kids of all ages, you're sure to find fun for the entire family. Below is a listing of current and upcoming events.

This temporary exhibit from NASA is an animated globe, with a 6-foot diameter, that can show animated images of the atmosphere, oceans, vegetation and more!

While it’s HOT and steamy outside, we’ve got fun-filled, weeklong summer camps loaded with COOL science for you to experience.

Imagination Station is a proud to be hosting 19 workshops as part of the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library’s Summer Reading Club.

Experience an exhilarating journey as you dodge snow-covered trees on the mountainside, balance on the edge of a cliff, outrun an avalanche of boulders and careen down an abandoned mine shaft.
August 5 – 10
Trajectory, fuel and so much more. Use Newton’s third law of motion to propel objects high into the sky. The science of rockets is about to blast off!
August 9 & 10
Discover the engineer within… This exciting science challenge gives kids of all ages the opportunity to design and build their own rocket.
Learn about your family tree and how to preserve your personal history to help future generations understand what life was like at the dawn of the 21st century.
September 1, 10am – 5pm

These programs encourage families with young children, ages 3 – 5, to investigate the world around them. RSVP today!

This monthly program covers a variety of topics – from chemistry to astronomy and all the fun, messy science in-between!

Imagination Station is turning five! It’s our birthday, so we’re throwing the biggest, craziest, most EXTREME science party you’ve ever seen – The Bash5. We can’t do it without your support!

Gather your zombie family for a haunting evening filled with special activities and demonstrations that’ll trick your eyes and treat your mind!

Experience things you can’t replicate in the classroom as we celebrate the wonders of chemistry at Imagination Station.
Join Imagination Station for fun, science festivities after The Blade Holiday Parade. Explore the science museum, meet special guests and get your photo taken with Santa Claus.
December 2 – January 4
The weather outside is frightful, but our science is so delightful. Frostology will explore the slippery science of snow, make engineers out of elves and create masterpieces from paper with our holiday-themed activities and demonstrations.
December 4, 6 – 8pm
Reserve your spot for this members-only pajama dance party with the big guy, Santa Claus. This festive night blends holiday cookies and cocoa with cool science.
