Little Scientist Workshops
The Little Scientist Workshops are a series of programs that encourage families with young children, ages 3 – 5, to investigate the world around them. Your child will explore science through hands-on activities. These programs are a great way to spend time creating and exploring together.
This nine workshop series runs on Thursdays, 11:30am – 12:15pm.
Registration is open for the Spring Workshops.
Price per child
Space is limited to 15 children per session, and reservations are required.
Member Cost: $5 per class
Non-Member Cost: $7 per class (Imagination Station admission must be purchased separately for non-members.)

Predator vs. Prey
Thursday, March 9 - Become the hungry predator hunting for prey. But, it’s not as easy as it sounds - some of their prey will be camouflaged.
Thursday, March 16 - You will huff and puff and blow your way through the story of the Three Little Pigs. See what it takes to build a house that can withstand a gust of wind.
Mining for Magnets
Thursday, March 23 - Discover the invisible force of a magnetic field as you push and pull your way through the discovery of magnets.
Splash of Color
Thursday, March 30 - Learn how color plays an important role in the world as you mix and create stained glass windows.
Thursday, April 6 - Learn how easy it is to make sounds from everyday objects by exploring sound waves and vibrations, and make your own box guitar to take home.
Is It Matter?
Thursday, April 13 - Make a splash as you explore solids, liquids and gases and even make your own treat to eat!
Sink, Float, Flink
Thursday, April 27 - Discover what sinks, floats or flinks! Experiment with different items and even build your own bathtub toy to take home!
Thursday, May 4 - Explore shadows and ultraviolet light while learning about the changes from day to night.
