Cub Scouts Workshops are the perfect way for your pack or den to enjoy a fun outing together, earn your Adventure belt loops and pins, and learn something along the way! 

Workshop topics include forensics, archaeology and robotics! No matter your grade or interest level, these workshops have something in store for you and your group.

Tigers

Sky is the Limit • February 11
You will be amazed once you’ve entered our portable planetarium: STARLAB®. Travel out into the universe to learn about the stars and stories behind the constellations.


Wolves

Digging in the Past • February 4 & April 29
Travel back in time using scientific inquiry to discover the world of dinosaurs. Become a paleontologist and dig for fossils to learn how scientists study creatures that disappeared 65 million years ago.

NEW! Germs Alive April 8
This adventure teaches Wolf Scouts about the importance of keeping a clean room, proper hand washing, and covering their sneezes. Participate in gross experiments as you make mucus, see how germs stay on your hands even after washing using ultraviolet lights and realize just how far a sneeze can travel!


Bears

Super Science • December 3
You get to be the scientist with simple science investigations involving static electricity, buoyancy and colors!

Make it Move January 7
Use the laws of physics as you create your own simple machine, make chain reactions and construct a large marble run!

Forensics March 4
When you earn this Adventure Badge, you’ll know how to follow clues and discover facts like a real detective. Grab your magnifying glass and dive into the science of investigation!

LEGO® Robotics  March 11
Earn your Robotics Badge with our LEGO® Robotics workshop. Scouts will learn about tasks performed by robots, build a robot hand and dabble in drag-and-drop coding using our WeDo 2.0 LEGO robots.


Webelos

Engineer November 5
Explore different fields of engineering and see how they form our past, present and future. During this workshop, you will learn about the engineering design process, create your own set of blueprints and then construct two different projects.

Adventures in Science 
November 12 & April 22
Learn all about fair tests as you visit Imagination Station and talk to our Extreme Scientists. You will build and launch a model rocket to explore forces and motion, learn the difference between series and parallel circuits, explore safe chemical reactions with household materials and see the night sky to observe the appearance of the North Star and Big Dipper.
