Get into a Summer State of Mind with Summer Camp

May 15, 2024

by Maddy Coss, Program Development Manager, Imagination Station

Do you know a child that loves science? Or do they simply love to have fun? If the answer was yes to either of these questions, then Imagination Station is the place for them this summer! For your future scientists, we have 2 NEW camp themes, along with 4 beloved returnees — ensuring there's a camp for everyone.

Get ready to tinker and test with our new camp Mini Maker, the perfect experience for children ages 6-8. This camp introduces young learners to the many tools that are available to them in the 21st century. Become a maker as you explore how things such as simple machines, circuits and robots work and let your creativity fly as you use your knowledge to create an invention of your own.

For campers ages 9-13, get ready to see your name in lights with the new Lights, Camera, Science! camp. In this week-long experience, campers will learn what it takes to be a director behind the camera as they create their own short film. By using the principles of science, campers can let their imaginations run wild as they turn film into a sensory experience. In this camp, you can become a filmmaker for a week, or two, or three!

Don't worry, if your camper has a favorite experience, The Science of Magic, Game On!, Project: Storytime, and a Reimagined: Super Splatter Science are all returning this year.

Each camp week includes daily activities from 9 am-4:30 pm, daily newsletters to keep parents in the know, 2 snacks each day, complimentary family admission on Friday from 3-5 pm, and extended days are available, from 8:30 am-5 pm, at no additional cost!

This is a summer you will not want to miss so register now to reserve your spot. More information on all 2024 summer camps can be found on our website.
