Why Imagination Station?

At its core, the Rubik's Cube is all about math and the logic behind solving it is based on geometrical symmetry, permutations and combinations.

It tests a player's ability to recognize and remember patterns and apply spatial intelligence. Not only is it a fun game, but this puzzle can improve problem-solving skills, concentration and help develop an interest in math.

The History

The Rubik’s Cube was invented in 1974 by Ernõ Rubik, a Hungarian architecture professor. He spent months tinkering with blocks made from wood and paper, held together with paper clips, glue and rubber bands before completing what was originally called the "Magic Cube."

In the beginning, the Rubik's Cube was a learning exercise to teach students about three-dimensional spaces and before it became an international sensation.

By the 1980’s, the Rubik’s Cube was a worldwide craze and is now one of the most popular puzzles of all time.

To this day, millions of Rubik's Cubes are sold, solved and shared among friends, families, and puzzle seekers alike.
