Get excited about STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) with YOUR science center! This time, we're coming to you. Tinkering Takeovers take place at various Toledo Lucas County Public Library and YMCA locations. There is no charge to attend—all you need to bring is your creativity. Never tinkered before? That's ok, too! Our expert tinkerers will be there to help you along the way.
Experiment with electrical components like buzzers, switches and bulbs. These everyday objects all use electrical connections to function—now you can find out how.
Dive into the cool and creative world of CODING! Program your very own robot to knock over bowling pins or follow a track. Come try it for yourself.
Discover the interactive world of mechanical linkages. Young engineers can turn their ideas of motion into reality—the possibilities are endless.
