This dynamic club travels right to you, bringing expert scientists to guide students through exciting and educational workshops. With three sessions per topic, students will dive deep into a variety of STEAM subjects, from coding and robotics to engineering and 3D printers. Each session is designed to relate directly to STEAM careers, giving students a glimpse into the exciting possibilities that await them in the future. Electronics - Grade 4-12
Unleash your students’ inner electrician as they discover the exciting world of circuitry with our three-part workshop series! In this hands-on experience, students will delve into the basics of circuitry through building and exploring. In the first workshop, students will learn about circuits using circuit blocks and creating their own dancing creations powered by electricity! In the second workshop, students will take apart electronic toys to see how they work and gain valuable tool literacy skills. Finally, in the third workshop, students will bring their newfound knowledge to life by creating LED accessories that they can wear proudly. Robotics & Coding - Grade 5-12
Get ready for your students to explore the world of coding and robots with our exciting three-part workshop series! In this hands-on learning experience, students will delve into the exciting world of coding and robotics. During the first workshop, students will code robots to perform specific tasks, gaining a foundation in coding basics. In the second workshop, students will learn to code microcontrollers, taking their skills to the next level. In the third workshop, students will use drag-and-drop coding to create interactive games or tell engaging stories.
Engineering - Grade 4-12
Join us for an exciting journey through the world of engineering with our three-part workshop series! In this hands-on learning experience, students will explore the engineering process and bring their ideas to life. In the first workshop, students will build with linkages to create moving and interactive structures, learning about the principles of mechanics. In the second workshop, students will create crank puppets, adding a dynamic element to their designs. During the third workshop, students will put their skills to the test by building mini roller coasters, demonstrating their mastery of the engineering process. Fabrication - Grade 5-12
Unleash your creativity and learn about modern technology in our exciting three-part fabrication workshop series! In this hands-on learning experience, students will discover the world of fabrication through the latest technology. During the first workshop, students will use a laser cutter to create fun custom glass frames, learning the basics of design. In the second workshop, students will continue to use the laser cutter to create any accessory they can imagine. Lastly, students will learn CAD design and use 3D printers to bring their custom creations to life. Join us and explore the exciting world of fabrication and modern technology!
